Tara Games complies with privacy protection requirements that information and communication service providers must observe under the Personal Information Protection Act and other relevant laws.
What is a Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy provides information about the lifecycle of personal information, including what personal information Tara Games collects, how the collected information is used, with whom it is shared when necessary, and when and how personal information is destroyed once its purpose is achieved.
It also informs users what rights they have regarding their personal information, how they can exercise these rights, and whom to contact for help in preventing damage if a personal information breach occurs.
The Privacy Policy plays a role in ensuring users' right to self-determination regarding personal information by defining the rights and obligations between Tara Games and users in the gaming services and related services provided by Tara Games (hereinafter referred to as "Services"), along with the lifecycle of users' personal information.
Personal Information We Collect
Tara Games collects the following personal information:
Mobile Platform Registration [Required]
Tara Games receives users' nicknames (names), member numbers, friend lists, and profile photos used in platform providers' services (e.g., Kakao, Google, Apple) from the platform providers. Platform providers provide this information to Tara Games after obtaining consent for personal information provision according to the Information and Communication Network Act when users use the service.
Automatically Collected During Service Use [Required]
In addition to personal information provided by platform providers, Tara Games collects service usage records, access logs, inappropriate usage records, carrier information, OS information and device information, advertising identifiers, language information, and payment records during the process of providing services or when users use services.
Application Installation Status Verification [Required]
During service use, information that can verify the installation status of service applications and platform providers' applications (e.g., Chrome, KakaoTalk, etc.) may be collected for linking between service applications. In this case, only information that can verify application installation status is collected, and no other information is collected.
Event Participation [Optional]
Additional information may be collected when users participate in events conducted in the service, apply for prizes, or during service inquiry processes. In such cases, Tara Games informs users of the personal information collected, usage purposes, retention periods, etc., and collects information after obtaining separate consent.
Tara Games collects personal information through service applications, written documents, fax, customer center consultations (phone or email), event participation, provision from partners, and generated information collection tools.
Use of Collected Personal Information
Tara Games uses collected personal information as follows:
Personal information is used for friend invitations, friend recommendations, paid content (item) purchases, payments or gifting, game rankings, playing with other users, notification services, and other services necessary for service provision.
Personal information is used for confirming membership or withdrawal intentions, user verification and identification according to service use, limiting use of users who violate terms or usage policies, preventing acts that interfere with service operation and preventing fraudulent use, record preservation for dispute resolution, handling complaints, and delivering announcements.
Personal information is used for service usage record analysis and statistics and providing customized services (including advertisements) accordingly, providing services and placing customized advertisements according to demographic characteristics, service development/provision or updates, and providing events or promotional information.
Personal Information Processing Consignment and Overseas Storage
Tara Games uses users' personal information within the scope of collection and use purposes and does not use or provide it beyond that scope without users' prior consent. However, personal information may be used or provided carefully in the following cases:
Before collecting or providing personal information, Tara Games informs users who the collection/provision partner is, what information is needed, and how long it will be retained, and seeks consent. If users do not consent, we do not collect or provide the information.
Tara Games may provide information when there are special provisions in the law or when investigative agencies request it for investigation purposes according to procedures and methods defined by law.
Users may apply for refusal of overseas transfer through the relevant department. However, since the corresponding service requires overseas transfer due to the use of customer center consultation systems, consultation reception and counseling may be restricted if you apply for refusal.
Personal Information Destruction
In principle, Tara Games destroys users' personal information without delay when users withdraw from the service. However, when separate consent is obtained from users regarding the retention period of personal information or when relevant laws specify retention obligations for a certain period, information is retained for that period and then destroyed without delay.
According to the Personal Information Protection Act, personal information of users who have not used the service for one year is destroyed and separated, and separately stored personal information is destroyed without delay after being stored for 5 years.
Tara Games destroys personal information whose collection and use purposes have been achieved, such as user service withdrawal, service termination, or arrival of retention periods, using methods that make recovery and regeneration impossible.

Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
Users or legal representatives can view or modify their own or children under 14's personal information through platform providers or app store providers at any time. They can also view information provided by platform providers to Tara Games in the service application's settings and withdraw consent for personal information collection and use (including user information collected by Tara Games) using "withdrawal."
Correction of personal information of users or children under 14 must be done using the member information modification function provided by platform providers or app store providers. When correction of personal information errors is requested, we do not use or provide personal information until correction is completed.
Installation/Operation and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices
Tara Games does not use cookies for service provision.
Activities and Efforts for Personal Information Protection
Tara Games makes the following efforts to ensure that personal information is not lost, stolen, leaked, altered, or damaged when processing users' personal information:

- • Tara Games establishes systematic standards for password creation, modification, and access permissions for database systems storing personal information and systems processing personal information.
- • Tara Games strictly limits employees handling personal information to those performing personal information management tasks and those for whom personal information handling is unavoidable for business purposes.

Supplementary Provisions
When Tara Games changes the Privacy Policy, the reasons for change and effective date are specified and announced on the service's official blog, etc., from 7 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date, along with the current Privacy Policy. However, if there are important changes to users' rights or obligations, we announce them at least 30 days in advance.
When Tara Games announces changes according to paragraph 1 and notifies that if no objection is expressed by the change effective date, it will be considered as consent, if users do not explicitly express objection, users are considered to have agreed to the changes.
